Due to construction work as a result of a burst pipe on Mühlfelder Straße, the through town in Herrsching has to be closed to traffic for four days.
Herrsching - The municipal company AWA-Ammersee gKU has announced that the local thoroughfare will be completely closed from Tuesday, April 2nd to Friday, April 5th. In the second week of the Easter holidays, a burst pipe on Mühlfelder Straße will be repaired.
Burst pipe: Complete closure of the Herrsching through town due to construction work
Coming from Weilheim, the full closure begins on Panoramastrasse. From the north, the closure begins on the “Am Ländtbogen” street. Residents can still get to their homes in the closed area. For through traffic towards Weilheim, extensive diversions will be set up from Inning and the Wörthsee motorway exit and on to Seefeld and Andechs.

Coming from Weilheim, there are diversions, including to the A96, via Dießen or again via Andechs with onward travel via Seefeld to Inning or the Wörthsee exit. The MVV regional bus routes 951 and 958 will be diverted from Andechs via Seefelder Straße and then via Schmidschneiderstraße to Herrsching train station. Due to the complete closure on Mühlfelder Straße, the Erlinger Höhe, Strittholzstraße, Panoramastraße, Dampfersteg and Martinsweg stops will be canceled without replacement.
Replacement stops for the MVV regional bus routes 951 and 958
No replacement stops are planned between Andechs Monastery and Herrsching train station. The measure serves to ensure the drinking water supply and to improve fire protection. The AWA-Ammersee ask for your understanding for the disruptions during the measure. Affected residents will be informed separately via a drop-in note.
