Rain without interruption like in the urban depths of the film “Blade Runner”, a sky that blends with the color of the Pleyel tower… We couldn't have chosen better weather for our bike test of the new motorway interchange of the 'At 86, in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis), a piece of equipment drowned in the decor of an austere suburb renovated for the Olympic Games next summer.
The redeveloped ramps are deployed at the foot of the Pleyel district, a few hundred meters from the athletes' village. Designed by the State and its Île-de-France roads department (Dirif), the infrastructure has been in service for a little over three months. We wanted to see how the reconstruction of a structure designed and designed for cars and trucks integrated soft mobility.
