Exequiel Tejeda and Julián Encina
, two players from the Godoy Cruz reserve, were
arrested
this Friday after having violated the rules of conduct imposed on them by the prosecution in the context of a case that is investigating them for the
alleged aggravated sexual abuse
of a
girl from 18 years old
occurred in November of last year outside
a bowling alley
.
The footballers had been released after paying
bail of one and a half million pesos
, but one of the conditions they had to respect to maintain that freedom was to maintain a
fixed address
.
Both reported that they would reside in places that they later
changed without notifying
the prosecutor's office, which, warned by the victim's defense lawyer, led to a complaint that led to the arrest order of the players.
Following the order issued by the Prosecutor's Office for Crimes against Sexual Integrity, the arrest of Tejeda and Encina was finalized on Friday night: the former will remain
in the 44th police station
until his transfer to prison is completed.
Encina, for his part, will be temporarily housed in the
Third Police Station of the City of Mendoza
.
The arrest implies a new setback in the case that investigates the Godoy Cruz reservists for “aggravated sexual abuse with carnal access and for being two or more people”:
The tests carried out by the Forensic Medical Corps found samples of
their DNA on the body and clothing
of the young complainant.
In addition, a doctor was able to verify an injury on the young woman's left arm that could have been caused during the alleged abuse.
A sexual abuse reminiscent of the case involving the Vélez players
The series of events reported by the young woman is reminiscent of the abuses reported in the last week by a journalist and involving four players from the Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield squad.
According to the complaint, on October 20, the young woman had gone dancing
at the Wish bowling alley with a friend
, where they met Tejeda and Encina.
When leaving, around 6 in the morning, the complainant told them that
she had to change
to go to the restaurant where she worked.
Her soccer players would have offered her
their apartment
so that she could do it but, upon arriving there, both would have
abused her repeatedly
.
Upon leaving the athletes' property, the young woman met with her friend and
they both went together to report
the incident.
