The spring holiday is a holiday of renewal, blossoming and...cleaning. We do not include the Passover cleaning in this list, we know that this is not necessarily a fun activity, but allow us to recommend you a Passover seder with children's toys and belongings. The clutter in the drawers is celebrating, the toys are no longer exciting enough and the clothes no longer fit the baby? This is the time to put everything in order that is not needed, make room for other things and bring other energies into the home. Our recommendation: look for a place where you can donate items safely and you will get a good feeling thanks to doing something for others.
Buy new clothes
in addition to the close-fitting clothes from the previous section, now is an excellent time to order the little ones a new wardrobe or at least some items that will meet the need and create a sense of renewal. Making crafts together in the spirit of the holiday.
Crafts with the children are always fun, but if you connect them to Passover they will have a special meaning. Make a Passover plate together from craft materials, build Moses in the ark out of clay, draw and color the ten plagues and let your imagination run wild.
Learning to make kosher and delicious recipes
for children is challenging, and kosher recipes for Pesach that the children will love is even more challenging. This is the time to be creative, and find tasty and interesting solutions for the Passover week, and on the way to get to know explaining to the children the meaning of not eating sour cream. Even if you don't observe it yourself, it's good for the children to know the custom, because as we mentioned before, they may not have had time to do it in kindergarten.
To think and imagine the moment after
Passover, when we celebrate the release from slavery to freedom, and also in this period when we are all more at home following the war, we wish to be free. Imagine together with the children where you will go when all the restrictions are removed, maybe it will be the amusement park, maybe to grandma and maybe for a walk in nature. Keep the optimism, soon it will happen and we will all be able to gradually return to everything we like to do.
