For surface dust, it is sufficient to wipe the pleated blind with a feather duster, a microfiber cloth or an anti-static cloth. Light stains and discoloration can also be removed with a cloth and a little cleaner. However, you should be careful not to use cleaners that are too aggressive.
Sometimes the dirt runs deeper. How you proceed also depends on the material of the window pleats. Usually you can simply remove the pleated blind and wash it. How do I get fly droppings out of pleated blinds?
