This is how quickly you can bake the American chocolate cookies:

  • While the oven is preheating to 180 degrees top and bottom heat (alternatively: 160 degrees fan), first beat the soft butter with both types of sugar, the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt for a few minutes in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Gradually stir in the two eggs.

  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder. The two dry ingredients are then added to the large mixing bowl and briefly mixed until smooth and smooth.

  • Then fold about two thirds of the chocolate drops into the dough and form twelve balls of dough that are as large as possible. Then place them a little apart from each other on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
