You will often find yourself stopping and watching your child. You are elated by how he plays with himself, chats with himself or simply filled with love for your little one just by being him. This viewing may bring with it thoughts and questions, as well as comparisons to other children, so it is important that you take everything in proportion and remember some important things.

There may be a gap between how you see your child, and how you imagine him or want him to be. It is important to understand that much of what the child feels and knows about something depends on what you convey to him. Therefore, the child must be instilled with the ability to set realistic expectations of himself and reinforce him when he meets these expectations. Accordingly, he was assigned tasks corresponding to his age and personal ability.
Reinforce and encourage in real time
Don't wait until the end of the day to reinforce the child for his positive behavior from noon. Strengthen him at every opportunity when he demonstrates responsibility, independence, shares feelings and more. If the child started building a tower - you can compliment him already on the first floor, you don't have to wait for him to reach the eighth floor. With compliments from the ground up, the tower will reach the roof.
Don't make comparisons between children,
a child can be more mature or developed in some areas and less in other areas, just like as babies there are those who walk first but are delayed in speaking and the like. All children will go through the same developmental stages, but their pace is different, so this is not the place to make comparisons (which appear almost automatically) between the child and other children at home, or at all. Everyone is an individual with their own maturity date.
Listen to the child, even when he is silent.
Your precious child is always talking to you, even when he is silent. Your active observation will encourage dialogue and create positive communication with him for years to come.
Keep your finger on the pulse
if you have any doubt about the child's functioning, by observing him, you should always consult with the other caregivers (kindergarten, for example) and ask if he behaves differently in a different environment. Monitor his mood changes, behavior changes, etc. and consider intervention if necessary.
