The house where
Nazareno Jara
lived in the Cumelén neighborhood of Neuquén suffered a fire early Tuesday morning. The 19-year-old young man lost his life during that incident: he did not manage to get out of the house and
was charred to death
. The case, which shocked the entire city, took a turn in the last hours, when
the victim's father showed up at the police station and confessed
to having started the flames.
"The fire was widespread in the house. They managed to extinguish it and during the cooling and removal work they found the lifeless body of a person in the laundry area,"
Commissioner Pablo Herbalejo, head of the Central Fire Station of the city , told
LM Neuquén.
Neuquén Police, moments after responding to the call made by neighbors of the house located a few meters from the corner of Carlos H. Rodríguez and Mastropiedra.
After extinguishing the flames, and during cooling and debris removal work, firefighters found
a charred body in the laundry area

, 39 years old and father of the dead young man, was not at home.
Nor was Costich's whereabouts known in the following hours, until shortly before midnight on Thursday he appeared with two lawyers at the Third Police Station and
recounted details
of the horrendous episode.
According to the data collected by that Neuquén media about the investigation,
a woman who was next to them
said that
they consumed narcotics
for three days, "among them cocaine and base paste."
The alleged witness also stated that
Costich and Jara had a strong argument and that they almost beat each other
. One even took a rolling pin and another a glass jar, she said in his statement before the court.
According to that same story, Costich sent his son to sleep and went out to buy alcoholic beverages in a white car, but when he returned he began to say that there were hitmen who wanted to kill him.
In that context, according to what

reveals , the man
lit some rags and threw them in different places in the house
, including the garage where he had left that vehicle. He also turned on the stove and threw a garment soaked in oil on top of her.
Always according to that version, the woman tried to stop him but she couldn't and Costich, a member of a family from the gypsy community known in the city,
left the home and sat in the front square
to watch how everything caught fire.
This Saturday, the alleged perpetrator of the incident will learn the charges he will have to face in the offices of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Meanwhile, on social networks, the victim's entourage asked for justice. “Federico Costich scourges HDP, you killed your son, you have no forgiveness. Divine justice is going to make you pay for everything. You are going to mourn your son until you die! You won't be able to breathe. Justice for Nazareno Jara.
