The FSB, Russia's internal security service, has arrested three "Central Asian citizens" who were planning a terrorist attack in Stavropol, southwestern Russia. Ria Novosti writes this, explaining that Russian services have seized components for homemade bombs and chemical products in the place of residence of the three arrested.
"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation suppressed the terrorist activities of three citizens of one of the Central Asian countries, who intended to commit a terrorist act by means of an explosion in one of the places of mass gathering of people in Stavropol", the FSB said, as reported by Ria Novosti.

"Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case" for terrorism. “During the investigation at the place of residence of the accused” in Stavropol “components of an improvised explosive device, chemical substances and destructive elements were discovered and seized.”
