The searches continue, especially in Naples and nearby areas, for the two teenagers from Romagna who have been missing from home for two days. The 12 year old from Fusignano Michelle Carlucci and her 13 year old friend Sofia Rivera Alvares, from Cotignola, should have entered school in Alfonsine (Ravenna) on the morning of March 27th. In class, however, the very young girls never arrived.
From what the police have reconstructed, the two girls could have instead reached Naples by train. A trail that the parents of the two friends also followed. "The situation is currently at a standstill, nothing is known. The last contact with our daughter's cell phone was in Naples and today we are here too, traveling around the area looking for her", said Sofia's father. "The last trace of my daughter's cell phone was in Naples - he specified - and then nothing more. We don't know who could have reached the girls". Words that Eva Stan, Michelle's mother, also echoes. "We're going around in circles, we don't have any news for now", she limits herself to saying, reached by telephone.
The parents of the two teenagers have also issued a series of appeals on social media, complete with photos of their daughters and telephone numbers, in the hope that someone has seen them in the Campania capital or during the trip and can give them useful information.
To clearly indicate that the two friends intended to go to Naples is a message that Michelle had sent, according to a family member, to another girl she met online, telling her that she wanted to visit her in the Campania capital. The traces left by her friends' cell phones also lead to Campania. No lead, however, can be overlooked and the searches also continue in Romagna in all the areas that the two friends used to frequent. The investigators' hope is to be able to find them soon, as happened with Edoardo Galli, the 16-year-old boy from Colico, in the Lecco area, who disappeared on the morning of March 21st. He was found in the central station in Milan, after having traveled to the Montenegro border.
Also from Alfonsine there was a separation of a teenager that ended well. Three years ago, 16-year-old Ilona Bogus, of Moldovan origin, disappeared from her home. Two months later the girl was found by the police in good condition.
