The FSB has arrested three "Central Asian citizens" who were planning a terrorist attack in Stavropol, southwestern Russia. Ria Novosti writes this, explaining that the Russian services seized components for homemade bombs and chemical products in the place of residence of the three arrested.
"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation cracked down on the terrorist activities of three citizens of one of the Central Asian countries, who intended to commit a terrorist act by means of an explosion at one of the places of mass gathering of people in Stavropol," said the Fsb according to what was reported by Ria Novosti. "Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case" for terrorism. "During the investigation at the place of residence of the accused" in Stavropol "components of an improvised explosive device, chemical substances and destructive elements were discovered and seized".
