"I thank the police and all the people who helped us during this terrible week." These are the first words of Alessandro, Galli, father of Edoardo, the 16-year-old who disappeared on March 21st in Colico, in the Lecco area, and was found after 8 days at the Milan Central Station.
The parent arrived at the station and finally hugged the boy.
"I'm out of tears," said the father. "We are very happy. Edoardo is very well and already had the ticket for Colico in his hand. The best thing - he added - is that he is very well" he explained. His mother spoke of an "enormous emotion", crying with joy, "he too was excited.
We thank all of you, even the kids at school. They all love him".
Where he was and with whom, the father limited himself to saying "it's the thing that interests us the least".
"Thanks go to all of them, to all the friends, to the school, to the municipality, to all those who helped us during this terrible week, including you - Alessandro told journalists - Now we ask you in these days to leave us a little calm".
