"Baby Reindeer" is a story about a budding comedian who becomes the object of a regular customer's obsession at his workplace. The horror comes from the constant presence of one in the other's life and from the fact that the relationship between the two always flirts with what is normal and acceptable, even if a little embarrassing.

From reading the dry synopsis - certainly backed by the image that shows a large woman and a slim and handsome man - one can imagine that there is a new generation of "Misery" here. But the truth of "little moose" looks completely different. Between the object and the stalking, there is no relationship of hunter and hunted, and the terror does not arise from appropriate and escalating covert surveillance. The series creator Richard Gad is a young Scottish man who came to London hoping to break into the world of comedy. In the meantime, he has a day job as a bartender in a pub that is open around the clock, where he one day meets Martha (Jessica Gunning, "Outlaws." Donnie's patheticness makes it difficult for him to mark clear boundaries in front of Martha. Martha already has a rich history of stalking and violence. Her startling behavior is not seen as dangerous - not only by the police but also by Donnie's friends and colleagues, who find her mostly amusing. Crush is fun and weird, let's say, but we are probably dealing with something else here. The Big Guide: The 24 series we're most looking forward to in 2024.
