The Île-de-France region is banking on deep geothermal energy. Vibrator trucks are crisscrossing the region until mid-April to identify the potential of the Ile- de-France subsoil to exploit this carbon-free energy source.
3.5 million euro project aims to identify potential in terms of deep ge thermal energy. If so-called “ surface ” geothermal power is exploited, it can supply urban heating networks, whether collective buildings, industries or even swimming pools.
