People are currently hesitant to buy an electric car mainly because they don't have enough range, the infrastructure is too immature - and the electric vehicles are too expensive for them. Although some affordable electric cars have been announced, it will probably be a few years before they are available. The oil giant Shell also wants to increasingly rely on e-charging stations. Around 1,000 gas stations are to be sold in 2024 and 2025.
