Swimming: Léon Marchand impresses (again) before the Games and sets a new record in the NCAA finals. The Toulousain, 21, will compete in his first individual race on Thursday, the 500 yards freestyle.
He broke the NCAA record for this event during his last outing, at the beginning of March. He will once again be the big favorite to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games, where he is expected to lead the French swimming team.
