A little less than 50,000 state civil service agents, which number 2.5 million in total, will be particularly mobilized during the Olympic Games. The bulk of the mobilized personnel will come from the police (25,000 agents deployed) and the army (20,000).

In a message to AFP, the boss of the CGT of state agents, Céline Verzeletti, asked to meet the Minister of State for Civil Service, Jean-Yves Le Drian. In an instruction sent in March to the ministries, the General Directorate of Administration and Civil Service (DGAFP) asked them to identify before March 31 the agents whose presence is essential during the Games. During Thursday's meeting, four points were discussed: the organization of the Games, social dialogue, the methods of organizing work during the Olympics, and the support measures for mobilized agents.
