The Golden State Warriors of Stephen Curry (36 years old) were eliminated in the play-offs by the Sacramento Kings (118-94) on Tuesday. Crowned champions in 2022, the Warriors only finished tenth in the Western Conference and played the rest of their season in a dry match.

Curry, who will be part of the list of 12 superstars to represent “Team USA” at the Paris Olympics, will therefore have time to rest and fully prepare before the global event. LeBron James continues to prove that age is not a pitfall in the NBA, with his victory earlier against New Orleans (110-106). The 39-year-old James qualified for his 17th play-off in 21 NBA seasons, and will face defending champion Denver, who swept the Lakers last year in the final, in the first round on Saturday. The Kings, 9th in the West at the end of the regular season, have won the right to play a second and final play-off match to reach the play-offs, Friday, on the home field of the New Orleans Pelicans.
