German biathlon star hints at returning after career end. Benedikt Doll has ended his active biathlon career.
The 34-year-old won eight medals at major events. Doll made her World Cup debut in 2012 at the age of 21 and shaped an era in German biathlon together with greats like Arnd Peiffer, Erik Lesser and Simon Schempp. In addition to the 2017 World Championship title in the sprint, the highlights of his career were the Olympic bronze medals in Pyeongchang 2018 in the pursuit and relay.
