Nigel Hayes-Davis broke the record for points scored in a Euroleague match. The 29-year-old American winger scored 50 points in his club Fenerbahçe's victory against Berlin this Friday evening.
He exceeds by one point the previous record which belonged to his compatriot, playmaker, Shane Larkin, who held it since November 28, 2019, with another Turkish club Anadolu Efes. The absolute record in the European Cup of Champion Basketball Clubs is still held by the Serbian Radivoj Korac (who gave his name to a European competition) in 1964 with OKK Belgrade against Stockholm.
