Couples in Germany are getting married later and later. Women marry on average at 32.6 years and men at 35.1 years.

More and more couples are breaking away from the “typical polite invitations.” The average wedding party currently consists of 70 guests, says landlord Pablo Landauer. The majority of wedding planners' customers are in their late 20s and early 30s. Younger people often can’t afford a wedding planner. Colorful weddings with flowers are in demand this year. Savings are often made on decorations or spirits, according to florist Sandra Sanktjohanser-Wohlmuth.
