The weather forecast for Tuesday predicts showers over a large part of the country, while temperatures continue to fall. A powerful anticyclone pushes into the center of the Atlantic Ocean, and shifts a northerly flow over France.

The fresh air coming from the pole should remain in France for a few more days. The Mediterranean rim is spared, with plenty of sunshine in perspective. Mistral and tramontane still blow hard, up to 90 km/h. 7°C are expected in Reims, Metz and Chaumont in the morning. It will be between 9 and 10°C warmer in Perpignan, Marseille and Nice. This afternoon the weather will remain humid and gray in the North. The feeling will be autumnal in the South-West also with gray skies and a fairly cool atmosphere. The sun will only be able to assert itself on the edge of the Channel, with dry weather and clearings. On the other hand, the sky will be completely blue near Nice where it will be up to 20°C.
