At least one person killed in Russian bombings in Ukraine. Russia claims to have shot down 20 Ukrainian drones and two missiles.

Attacks come the day after a triple strike by Moscow on Chorniguiv, in northern Ukraine. Eighteen people were killed in the attack, according to the final official report published this Thursday. The Ukrainian Air Force announced that it had shot down 13 explosive drones overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. In Russia, authorities reported several Ukrainian air attacks overnight, particularly over the Belgorod region, which is regularly targeted. The other regions targeted are those of Voronezh, also bordering Ukraine, and Rostov, which houses the military headquarters of the Russian operation in Ukraine, says the Russian Defense Ministry. In the Kherson region, in the south of the country, 16 people were injured in several bombings over the past 24 hours, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on Telegram. A woman, injured in this attack, was hospitalized.
