The German Weather Service warns of further storms in Bavaria. Stormy gusts and thunderstorms could further aggravate the situation.

Long-distance rail traffic in Germany, roofs were covered, and cars as well as power and telephone lines were damaged. Twelve traffic accidents occurred between 6:15 a.m. and 8:40 a. m. in Feucht (Nürnberger Land district). Police reported numerous accidents due to the storm on Tuesday morning. A 47-year-old pickup driver was seriously injured and the 54-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries in Rügland near Ansbach when a driver slipped on a state road during a sleet shower. In addition to Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Lower Saxony were also affected by the disruptions.
