Religion faith became embedded in political faith precisely at the moment when the social democratic parties were born. Since ancient times, religious lines have passed through various ideological fields, from sorcerers to monotheistic religions.

In Brazil alone, evangelicals exceed 30 million. And this army is increasingly closer to a radical right under the belief that it is the one who will defend their fundamental values. The rejection of Lula by evangelicals represents one of the biggest obstacles in the new and democratic political era after Bolsonaro's obscurantist disaster. The phenomenon embraces not only Brazil but the U.S. and many Latin American countries. This explains why it is increasingly difficult for the new politics of modernity, and even more so for openly left-wing policies, to obtain such votes. It is the greatest danger in the political-social whirlwind that moves politics and even the world economy because they are millions and easy to be politically co-opted. Because they are the most economically punished world, the most excluded from the goods of society, and the poorest. It is true that religious faith has had to exorcise atavistic fears since the beginning of Humanity.
