Yolanda Daz's team made observations against a new allocation of 1.1 billion for weapons. The increase in defense spending is one of the issues that generates the most tension within the Government coalition.

Sumar already made it very clear two weeks ago in Congress, through its spokesperson, igo Errejón, that it does not support Pedro Sánchez's decision to significantly increase this spending to reach 2% of GDP, as NATO demands. Spain is already, according to these sources, at 28% of spending on weapons, and with this framework agreement approved on June 29 and 30, 2022, this figure is expected to rise to 30% by the end of the decade. The second vice presidency, led by Daz, raised several observations on the latest item for increased spending carried by the Ministry of Defense this week, on this occasion, 1,129 million euros. The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, did not even appear at La Moncloa to explain it.
