Storm hits ski chairlift in Italy: Videos show “scary” scene. Eyewitnesses captured the scene on video.
The scene is the holiday resort of Cervinia in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Strong gusts of wind hit the chairlift that takes skiers up to the mountain station on Thursday. Ten chairs were damaged and removed from the elevator. The weather website Meteo Valle d'Aosta also published footage of the scene. This makes it even clearer how violently the lift's seats are caught in the wind.
