Stellantis announced an investment of $100 million for the acquisition in Argentina of 49.5% of 360Energy Solar SA, a renewables company with extensive experience in the development, construction, and operation of photovoltaic solar parks. With this investment, the automotive sector holding is taking "an important step towards the goal of energy autonomy" and the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2038.

"Our goal of offering clean, safe, and convenient mobility challenges us to rethink every part of our operations and the infrastructure that supports us," stressed Emanuele Cappellano, president of Stellantis for South America. "We have found a common vision and a medium and long-term strategy that excites us and generates great expectations," stated Federico Sbarbi Osuna, CEO of 360 Energy. The investment will allow us to accelerate our growth plans in Argentina and expand our activities in other Latin American countries and Europe," said Federico, who is based in Buenos Aires.
