Nine students and two teachers from Kloster Schäftlarn high school will make an eight-day pilgrimage on the Via Francigena from Lucca to Rome. The students had various options in advance to decide on how to implement a topic as part of the P-seminar.

“To go on a pilgrimage, and abroad at that, says 16-year-old David enthusiastically, “such an opportunity to combine hiking in nature with the religious aspect is unique.’ “We are a school full of values,’ emphasizes Walter Prem, teacher of history, politics, and society, who will accompany the group together with his colleague, sports teacher Susanne Simet. “Pilgrims just fit in.’
