The head of the branch of the municipal HLM office, Nanterre Coop Habitat, in Petit-Nanterre, was beaten up by two hooded individuals dressed in black. The company employee, clearly expected by his attackers, was taken out of his vehicle, put on the ground, beaten, then sprayed with tear gas.

According to his own account, the two men, put to flight by the intervention of passers-by, then abandoned him bleeding. "The new layout of the parking lots," where barriers have just been installed as part of a "residentialization and security" of outdoor spaces, could be at the origin of this beating, according to a police source. The victim had just affixed sheets to the cars indicating that vehicles which did not have authorization would be impounded," specifies the same source. A complaint was filed at the Nanterre police station, and the HLM office branch, where a psychological unit was set up for staff, closed its doors all day. A closure which will probably extend until Monday.
