The Argentine president and the magnate are concerned about the low birth rate. The World Health Organization says that girls and adolescents have four times the risk of dying in pregnancy or childbirth.
The Government fired more than 600 professionals from the Unintentional Pregnancy Plan for Adolescents, and its continuity is in danger. The Enia Plan reduced teenage pregnancies by half, and the Government has just dismantled it by firing 619 professionals. It is called that because seven out of every ten pregnancies in adolescence are products of abuse, misinformation, and lack of access to health and contraception. "Abortion is a murder aggravated by the bond," says Javier Milei, the president's spokesman. "They want to exterminate the population," says Elion Musk, the Argentine magnate and former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). "Abortions are part of the post-Marxist agenda that has to do with the destruction of the most important social nucleus, which is the family," says Milei.
