A 10-year-old Italian girl has given up her First Holy Communion gifts and cash in order to fund a social collective. The collective runs a Lecce artisanal gelateria staffed by Down's youngsters that offers free ice cream to the needy.
Carolina said she was happy to be contributing to the new gelato with its flavor described as "social redemption and happiness."
