The number of unemployed people in Thuringia fell by 1,100 to around 70,500 in March compared to the previous month. The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced on Thursday that the unemployment rate fell from 6.5 percent to 6.4 percent.
A year ago the rate was 6.1 percent. The Federal Agency used data that was available up to March 13th. The spring revival in the Thuringian labor market is on the horizon, the agency said.
