Fewer unemployed people in Schleswig-Holstein in March. The unemployment rate fell by 0.2 points to 5.8 percent.

Compared to the previous year, 4,700 more women and men were registered as unemployed. Stormarn has the lowest unemployment rate in the district at 4.2 percent, and Dithmarschen has the highest at 6.4 percent. At 8.9 percent, Neumünster has the most unemployment in the northern state.
