Sports clubs in Weilheim and Peiting have seen membership fees increase by up to 60 percent this year. The clubs fear that the increased costs could be met with a great lack of understanding or, in the worst case, lead to a wave of resignations.

But fears have so far not come true. The club continues to see "lively demand" and "continuous new registrations," according to Weilheimer. The churn rate is also "almost unchanged," the TSV said when asked when asked. The members "understood" the increase in contributions, the club said. The TSV is now asking adults to pay 180 instead of 130 euros for memberships. The membership fee for adults is rising by around 38 percent thisyear in WeILHEIM. In Peiting, membership is even 60 percent more expensive this year and is therefore climbing from 50 to 80 euros. The market town does not need to shy away from a comparison with large municipalities in the district.
