A 17-year-old boy received several stab wounds on Tuesday April 16 in Évry-Courcouronnes. A suspect was taken into custody.

This new episode of violence comes less than two weeks after the death of Shemseddine, 15, in front of his school in Viry-Chatillon. The boy had been beaten up by several people who accused him of having a relationship with the sister of two of them. The victim, aged 17, was picked up by the fire ambulance and taken to a hospital in serious condition. Having undergone surgery, the teenager is now out of danger. An investigation into “attempted voluntary homicide” was opened to shed light on this matter. The other young man, 18 years old, was still placed in police custody this Wednesday in the premises of the DCT (Territorial Crime Division), the former departmental security. A fight between several teenagers broke out in the street, and a brawl during which stabbings were carried out.
