Inning's local council approved the preliminary draft for the extension to the Inning fire station on Tuesday. Mayor Walter Bleimaier called the EUR 2.5 million project "planning for the future.' The existing building is to be expanded to the south by around 14.80 meters.
A stairwell is planned on the currently existing external staircase, which will connect the basement, the hall, and the training room in the attic.. The hall, with an area of 140 square meters, offers space for two vehicles. The clear room height is 4.50 meters.. In total, the troop numbers more than 50 men and women and would hardly have fit in the room. The desired subsequent expansion of the attic with a training room is therefore justified, the council says.. A new fire station probably costs ten million euros. The classroom is also too small. The planning is already justified,' says Inning's local councilor for the FWG and still an active firefighter.
