Penzberg native Katharina Omanovic has leased the restaurant and will run it as a family business. Adrian Auer stopped running the Stadthalle after five years at the end of last year and closed his “Wirtshaus zur Koinschaufe.

The name is intended to symbolize the close connection between the economy and Penzberg. The opening will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20th, under a new name: “Wirtshaus Glück auf.. Good luck!" is still often used today as a traditional greeting on official occasions, as the future name for the business in the town hall. "I am a native of Penzburg," says the 34-year-old, whose maiden name is Ertl and who grew up in Maxkron, where her parents Hedwig and Peter still live today. She also learned from her dad that the town hall needed a new landlord, says Omanovic.
