The filmmaker testified in the trial against eight professionals from the San Isidro municipal hospital for the death of Alejandro Cohn. His father also testified, recounting the sequence in which he was told that his son was brain dead.

It is a mystery how Cohn, who entered the municipal hospital on July 27, 2015, ended up with a botched tracheostomy, unexplained fractures and a diagnosis of brain death. The autopsy determined that the body had a dislocation of the cervical vertebra with rupture of the bone marrow, dislocated of the thoracic vertebra, fracture of the right clavicle, and fractures of the lateral arches. The shock room report book was lost, the nursing sheets with the record for that Saturday were torn out of the minute book, and there was no record of security cameras either. The trial, which began this week, is expected to last a few weeks before the verdict is handed down on July 28, 2015.
