The 2023 Telethon raised nearly 93 million euros for research into rare genetic diseases. This is the best result in seven years.
At the end of the operation, sponsored by the singer Vianney, the counter was stopped on more than 80 million euros in pledges. The 2024 telethon will take place on November 29 and 30, due to the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, scheduled for December 7 and 8, organizers say. The last edition mobilized more than 200,000 volunteers and was held in over 10,000 municipalities.
