Sharpshooters and filters, over 600 agents for the Via Crucis - Last hour. Selected shooters, a helicopter that will fly over the area, dog monitors, bomb squad and thermal imaging cameras to detect the presence of any explosives.
Two filters are provided for the control of participants: one with a wide range and the second to access the celebration area itself. The entire area of the historic center, the Vatican and the institutional buildings will be under heavy surveillance. There is maximum attention also in light of the international terrorism alert.
