9 out of 10 freelancers are not looking for a salaried position, according to the Malt platform's study of 5,000 freelancers in Europe. They even refuse offers, right out of school, like Paul, who did not wish to continue in the structure that welcomed him on a work-study basis.
“The average age remains 37 years, but the age pyramid is more fragmented, at the extremes, with young people and seniors,” observes Alexandre Fretti, general director of Malt.
