Faced with the anger of users, parliamentarians and ministers are making “regulation of the right to strike” in public transport their battle horse. The text provides for the creation of 30 days during which transport employees “whose assistance is essential to ensure the proper functioning of the service” would be deprived of their right to strike during peak hours. These days “would be defined in advance and would target departures on vacation, weekends or even elections,” explains its rapporteur Philippe Tabarot (LR). Major events for France, such as major sporting competitions, would also be protected. »
