Be wary if you are used to buying ground meat in plastic.
Since Friday, trays of 5% steak from the Cora and Bocquet brands have been recalled throughout France for suspected E.Coli bacteria.
These were sold in several supermarkets, such as Cora or Match, between February 29 and March 5.
Other information: the two batches concerned, labeled 40595076, have an expiration date of March 5.
Consumers who purchased one of these products must return it to the store for a refund.
According to the government platform Rappel Conso, this bacteria can
“result, in the week following the consumption of contaminated products, of sometimes bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting, accompanied or not by fever”
.
And to specify that
“people who have consumed the products mentioned and who present this type of symptoms are invited to consult their doctor without delay, notifying him of this consumption as well as the place and date of purchase.”
The end of the procedure is set for March 29.
