Highlights: Former minister Carole Grandjean becomes HR director of Etam. Also a member of Parliament for Meurthe-et-Moselle, she will leave the Assembly in the fall. “Her taste for the field, her capacity for work and the energy she deploys to move the lines will be undeniable assets,” underlines Laurent Milchior, manager of the Etam group. The daughter of a former deputy mayor of Nancy finally got involved in politics in 2016.

The Etam group appoints the former Minister for Vocational Education and Training as director of human resources. Also a member of Parliament for Meurthe-et-Moselle, Carole Grandjean recently announced that she will leave the Assembly in the fall.

“The

quality of the public debate

worries me.

The future of democracy alarms me

,” declared Carole Grandjean in the columns of the regional daily L’Est republican this Saturday, March 16.

So she decided to return to her first love: human resources.

She started in 2007 as head of the HR Development department at the Caisse d'Épargne de Lorraine-Champagne-Ardenne.

She joined Elior in 2015 as HR Director for the Grand-Est region.

Employment, training and education

This daughter of a former deputy mayor of Nancy finally got involved in politics in 2016, becoming a member of parliament for Meurthe-et-Moselle the following year.

She focuses on texts related to employment, training and education, subjects that she masters perfectly.

Her mandate is thus renewed in 2022 and, in the process, she becomes Minister Delegate in charge of Vocational Education and Training in the second Borne government.

After the appointment of Gabriel Attal to Matignon, when doubt hovered over the constitution of the government, she claimed to have informed the President of the Republic of her desire to no longer exercise new ministerial functions.

Last mission

The one who considers herself proud to have brought about reforms to the Personal Training Account (CPF) and the development of apprenticeship, wanted to reconnect with the private sector.

She will leave the National Assembly in September, explaining to the

Republican East

that “

public life is demanding, sometimes unfair and often violent.”

“Her taste for the field, her capacity for work and the energy she deploys to

move the lines will be undeniable assets

,” underlines Laurent Milchior, manager of the Etam group in a press release.

She will nevertheless continue to honor her mandates as municipal councilor of Nancy and councilor for the Greater Nancy metropolis.

At the same time, it should carry out one last mission for the government with the launch of an anti-school dropout system: voluntary military service.
