Matignon announced on Friday the organization of a vast consultation under the aegis of the National Commission for Public Debate.


The film about French energy policy will not be called “Un jour sans fin”, but “A debate without end”.

Friday, the day after a meeting between Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and environmental NGOs, Matignon announced the upcoming organization of a consultation on the energy and climate strategy.

This will take place under the aegis of the National Commission for Public Debate (CNDP) which will have to look into the Multi-Annual Energy Program (PPE) and the National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC).

This announcement implicitly confirms the executive's intention not to rush things in energy matters.
