“The accused tried to convince people in Germany on the Internet to also go to Syria and become members of Jabhat al-Nusra. Samra N. also temporarily hosted a woman in her home whom she had encouraged to leave the country.” “She helped her husband obtain military equipment for the Islamic State,” added the prosecution.
While the latter was in combat, the accused lived in “houses for women”, which the Islamic State had taken possession of after having expelled the inhabitants.
At the beginning of 2014, Samra N. returned to Germany but remained a member of the Islamic State until at least February 2015, according to the press release. She was arrested on November 29 in Trier (west of Germany) and placed in pre-trial detention.
