Pirelli is also working on new high-performance zero-impact proposals, as demonstrated by the P Zero family tire created specifically for the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, in collaboration with the Korean company.
It is a product which, in line with the nature of the first battery-powered N sports car, offers sporting performance, reliability and comfort in everyday life, taking advantage of the deep grooves, the dimensions of the tread blocks and the rigidity.
After all, virtual simulation tools were used in its development, as well as tests on the Nürburgring circuit.
Characterized by the Elect marking on the side, which indicates the package of technological solutions designed by Pirelli for electric and plug-in hybrid cars, the P Zero in question also sports the Pirelli Noise Canceling System capable of reducing noise inside the passenger compartment through a sound-absorbing material applied inside the tire.
In addition to the summer P Zero, Pirelli also provides a dedicated version of the Winter Sottozero 3 winter tire, which offers optimal traction and control at low temperatures;
while, for Ioniq 5 N drivers who often frequent the track, Pirelli has created the P Zero Corsa, with high traction and braking performance.
On all tailor-made tires dedicated to the Hyundai Iioniq 5 N there is the "HN" marking on the sidewall, which indicates the specific development for the model.
