The US House of Representatives has passed a national security measure potentially banning TikTok as part of a broader aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
Banning TikTok would "violate the freedom of expression" of 170 million Americans. It is the platform's reaction to the vote in the US House.
According to Musk 'TikTok should not be banned'
Elon Musk has spoken out against the ban on TikTok in the United States in the name of "freedom of expression", hours before the
US House vote that could lead to the disappearance of the hugely popular platform.
“In my opinion, TikTok should not be banned in the United States, even if such a ban could benefit Platform X,” the platform owner said. "This would go against free speech and expression. This is not what America stands for," he added.
