2024-04-19T18:42:53.716Z

Highlights: Spring break begins for zone B, while zone A begins its second week of vacation, and zone C finishes it. As a direct consequence, the roads of France will be busy this weekend and particularly on Saturday, due to back and forth traffic. Note the closure of the A13 motorway, which connects the capital to Rouen and Caen, in both directions of traffic between Paris and Vaucresson, at the interchange with the A86, since the beginning of the morning. An event which could cause some chaos to reach Normandy. Traffic difficulties are expected in the Rhône valley, classified orange in the direction of departures and returns. Ditto in Île-de-France, which classifies the region in orange for departures and orange for returns. According to the traffic forecasting body, “returns from holidays added to Saturday afternoon activity could cause traffic difficulties between mid-afternoon and early evening.” To avoid this influx, it is recommended to avoid the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday.
